Hello!

Wow, it’s been since Friday. Gah. I’m getting into my old habits of not posting to my blog. *pets blog* It’ll be okay my lil fuzzy-wuzzy bloggy-woggy. >_> *coughs*

Well, to start, the homecoming dance was a blast! I was waiting for pictures from Ryan before I posted about the dance, but it seems she’s not getting them here any faster. XD But I was a party animal, let me tell you… If I was straight, I would have gotten laid that night! XDDDD

On to the next subject (saving the dance for a later time), as most of you know my dream after high school is to move to London to live for a couple of years. Have a job, go partying, be gay, that kind of stuff. It shouldn’t be that hard. If I work my way up through the programming food chain, I wouldn’t mind being a developer in London. According to a chart I was reading, they manage an average of £30-50k (approx $60-100k) for a developer. London is like the UK’s New York or, even better, San Fransico because of their IT positions within companies and independant development firms.

Anyway, from my research last night, a studio flat is going to average £650-850 a month. I also found a marvelous little site that details the cost of living in the UK, particulary London. According to this site, for the “basics,” I’ll be spending around £1156 a month. Let’s break it down, now, yo…

  • £750 per month for flat rental. (I took the median of the prices)
  • £240 per month for groceries/toiletry/laundry. (Calculated by multiplying the £60 weekly average by 4 weeks)
  • £86 per month for tube (the Underground or subway) travel.
  • £80 per month for club entry. (Not including drinks or anything)

I’m actually gonna try to budget around £2k a month. Hopefully, I’d get a £25-30k job. O_O

Well, I’ve just finished filing for my UK tax code. *sighs* I’m applying so early because they say it takes like a year and a half to get everything settled, and such. -_-

Anyway. I speak of my new aliment… I think I did something to my back. I laid in the library with my back out today. -_- It was pitiful. >_<

Well, I’ma go finish watching Project Runway.
